the Genesis 475 is a custom amplifier made for the Singapore market.

 

It is a switching class AAB amp ( or so it claims).

 

Basically, on low power, it is class A bias. when u pull more power, it switches to AB. Thus we are using it to power the tweeter and mid range.

 

Gênesis 475 é um amplificador feito sob encomenda para o mercado brasileiro.

 

É um amplificador AAB mudança de classe (ou assim ela afirma).

 

Basicamente, em baixa potência, é classe A polarização. quando u extrair mais potência, ele muda para AB. Assim, estamos utilizando-o para o poder do tweeter e mid range.

Car was sent for inspection today. So no updates on the car.

 

But what I do have are pictures from another fiat bravo, using the same exact speakers. The A pillars for the Comp car was built in the same exact way. So here are some pics to give you guys a better idea how this massive A pillar was built

 

The original A pillars are taken out a mold is made

Mas o que eu tenho são imagens de outro fiat bravo, utilizando as mesmas colunas exatas. Um dos pilares para o carro Comp foi construída da mesma maneira exata. Então, aqui estão algumas fotos para dar a vocês uma melhor idéia de como este Um pilar maciço foi construído

 

O original de pilares são levadas para fora um molde é feito

Now onto the last installment of A pillar build

 

Putting the stand offs on the baffles

 

 

 

what I like about this A pillar is the frame work. Its as though it has a skeleton.

 

 

now to pull some fabric over

 

 

 

applying resin is pretty straight forward,

 

So here’s the end product

 

 

 

 

from here on, the A pillar just needs a shit load of sanding and its all ready 

 

The comp car is back and I’ll have more pics up soon! The whole setup is more or less done, but unfortunately, the colour scheme we thought would have turn out nice turned out really ugly.

 

We’ll be redoing certain parts of the build, so look out for it. But here’s a sneak peek for you guys..

we get a nicer "body" sound.. mid range frequencies are better. We actually were thinking how it would sound if we ported the A pillar .. hahahah..

You'll get ressonances in the mid range... its hard to correct a ported cabinet close to ear... sealed is the best option at all.

Hi all,

 

Hope everyone had a good weekend 

 

Anyway, the car’s almost complete and we are beginning tuning of the system. This system is proving to be quite challenging.

 

The test car we had this setup on used a Clarion D2 ( 9255 for the US folks). Now we have it on the #F1 and it’s a different beast.

 

We got the A pillars in.

Now we actually hit a little snag along the way and are re-doing part of the layout.

 

Problem was the colour scheme, it is TOO RED! It looked like vegas when we open the trunk at nite.

 

So well, some things gotta change. Look out for it.

Well, we just got a new jack for the car.. hahaha.. pretty cool colour too!

 

Anyway, bad thing about the Fiat Bravo is that the dam alternator is under the car and we have to jack up the car to gain access to it.

As you all know, we had some problems with the colours, well, here are some of the things we’ll be changing.

though the design is cool, think there’s too much red, we didn’t expect it to be too dam red!
