[SMD]The thinnest metal I've ever cut .005” Intricate tempered blue spring steel parts on a fiber laser

I cut a lot of stuff on my fiber laser but this is the thinnest so far. It might sound easy because it is so thin but it is actually a little more complicated than it looks. I actually use a secondary piece of sheet metal for support. I cut the holes out of the support piece with a slight offset to allow the actual metal the .005 a little bit of room for the beam when it gets cut. There is a lot of nitrogen flowing out of the nozzle so it tends to push the thin metal downward and create a qflutterq. This can affect the cut quality as well as the overall cut itself. The results are definitely good if you get enough practice at it in case you didn t notice we did a little .008q the qthickq stuff as well Contact me if you need something cut Thanks for watching if you did
