I have been wanting to upgrade my test bench speakers for a long time. The old CT Sounds Coax have been there for about a decade and even though they do sound good I am ready for a change. Front facing banana plugs for easier access and also the ability to take control of each speaker in case I want to go active with them. I ran into a snag though. If I put a signal on JUST the tweeter or JUST any other speaker it back feeds through the passive into the others. I didn t really take that into account when I was designing this and almost gave up on that when I realized it. But I came up with a solution. It makes everything more complicated than it needs to be for just some test bench speakers but I will be able to achieve my goals with the modules as seen in the video . Finally it is all wired up and playing You probably can t hear it over your phone but the midbass is nutty So much impact. If these were in your doors doing this you would be very happy.
