[SMD]It's Ready to Bump! 4 15" Subs

Todays video shows how the subs were wired up and ran to the terminals in a series-parallel configuration. The plan is to put an SMD 8500.1D on each pair so the final ohm load should be .7 ohms. It is very simple but might seem more complicated than it had to be but I didn t want to cut the direct leads. If they are preserved they can be used later in a parallel configuration rather than ruining them by cutting them for the traditional series wiring job. I really wanted to hear it but unfortunately there is a scratch in the window and that needs to be taken care of before we can seal it shut for the final time. If I fired it up now it would leak like crazy because it is barely held on with a couple of screws and no sealant strip. The hard part is done though I think we are going to add some white LED s to the inside of the box to help the Candy red baskets pop a lot more than they do in that dark cavern.
