Antheny s system was due for a refresh. It takes power to make power so we are starting at the front and working our way back. The last video was about the dual 400 amp Mechman Alternators and the new Banks Cold Air Intake we installed. Today we are focusing on getting the power delivered from the front of the vehicle to the rear. We are replacing the old power platform with a new one. One thing people don t take into account when they buy fuse blocks and ground bars is where they are going to put them. This is just showing you what I did. I actually decided to re-use the old support bar from the last platform since it was still sturdy. Instead of running new cable all the way to the back we decided to re-use the old stuff since it is still in perfect condition. We decided to sleeve the old blue wire with black and terminate it with red heat shrink. To give it a cleaner look without having to replace it. The platfor itself is made of 1q HDPE Marine board. The fuse blocks are SMD Quad XL2 and an SMD Half Block distro bar. Both red baseplate with matte black trim. We used 4 SMD 500a Ceramic ANL fuses. They will probably come back out when we get started but I had to see what it all looked like put together. I know some of this seems boring and isn t super exciting but important none the less. I like to show everything we had to do to get the job done. Not sure what we are going to do next but at least we are making progress Stay tuned and subscribe. You will find out as soon as we decide.
